Market

Family farming is the most dominant industry in Angonia.  The main market for agricultural products is within the district and along the border of Malawi.  There is no formal trading system for produce.  Thus, farmers bring their crops and other purchased crops to local markets for sales and negotiate with Malawian traders for prices.  Cash crops are always in oversupply because of the small market size.  Besides, lack of transport and bad road conditions make access to other markets difficult.  The situation is pretty much the same across the districts.

Children

Children are the most precious resource of any nation.  The problems and conditions the children in Mozambique, especially in the central provinces including Tete, are facing today appear formidable; poverty, HIV/AIDS, lack of educational opportunities, and violence against them, to name just a few.  There are many steps to take and the advance would surely be slow and gradual.  It is essential for the people to realize that providing children with a safe and nurturing environment is integral part of community's as well as nation's development.

Future

Let there be a future for the children anywhere in the world.
